What is the patented vertical vibration platform design?
Health Mark’s patented platform technology and design represent the first significant change in the application of whole body vibration technology systems for strength training and wellness since the 1990’s. Early researchers and manufacturers knew vertical vibrations became dangerous at high speeds and amplitudes because they don’t stay vertical. The vibrations become three dimensional. They shake and shock, rather than vibrate your body.
Throughout the years efforts have been made by manufacturers to alter the physics and inevitable distortion of their vertical vibration platforms. They tried low speeds, high speeds; low amplitudes, high amplitudes; 30 second time controls; one motor, two motors. They attached weight adapters, actuators, magnetic devices, even audio amplifiers to slow the shake-shock effect.

What are the contraindications?
Health Mark, the manufacturer of the Sport Vibe 1000 and 2000 and the Vertical Vibe Pro 1000 and 2000 advise checking with your physician prior to starting a new exercise routine.
Health Mark recommends having physician approval if you have any of these contraindications:
- pregnancy
- pacemaker or internal defibulator
- recent foot, knee, hip implants
- recent sutures
- recent surgeries
- pre-existing joint condition
